The senior students have formed an Interact Club and are working for the underprivileged children.
Another popular subject which has been introduced in classes IX, X, XI & XII is Food and Nutrition.
BIS is conducting the board examination three times a year i.e. in March, May and October.
The Board results were excellent. Gun Hee Joh, a science student scored A and A* in all the subjects in the AS examination. In appreciation the school has given him a scholarship.
The first term has been an activity filled term as we in BIS, believe in teaching through activity.
The biology students of class 10 had been taken to MODERN BAKERY to understand the role of yeast in bread making.
The commerce students were taken on two industrial visits. A workshop on financial investments was held so that students learn more about investments and shares.
The Art and Design students were taken to an art gallery to gain knowledge about the use of different colours to create an effect.
Some of our students of Food and Nutrition department participated in the Young Chef Competition. The Indian Institute of Hotel Management conducted a workshop about the future prospects which interested the students.
The Prize distribution was held in the school premises. Parents were offered slices of cake baked by the students of food and nutrition department. This was highly appreciated by the parents.
The series of activities culminated with the History & Geography exhibition which was a great success.
Bridge International School has begun Food & Nutrition classes for O Levels. The well-equipped kitchenette needed for the practicals was inaugurated on 28 August 2014.
