The curriculum is balanced and the course of study is flexible.
The IGCSE / O Level curriculum is balanced and lends an international perspective to studies. It also takes account of differing abilities of students. Students of all ability levels have the freedom to choose subjects that are right for them and thereby have the opportunity to score good grades.
The International Programmes are more practical and application – based and have a broader spectrum of subjects that lead to all – round development and are more challenging than the Indian educational boards and test student knowledge, not their memory and speed.
The curriculum in its very nature forces the child to think out of the box. It is very practical in nature & improves the communication & presentation skills in the child.
IGCSE students can take advantage of the Cambridge Checkpoint, a diagnostic service comprising of standardized tests, that pin – points a student’s strengths and weaknesses in key curriculum areas.
This board is tailored for a more multi lingual and multicultural audience. It gives a definite edge to students who aspire to go abroad for higher studies. The International syllabus is compatible with higher education in India.
A student who has done his/her early schooling from any other board can join the Cambridge programme at Class9 level.
Cambridge has the Cambridge International Primary Programme as well which means students can study this curriculum from age 5 through age 18.
